FAQ

Q
I think you're a company with many female employees. Is it possible to work even after marriage and childbirth?
A
90% of the employees at the Miss Paris Group are women. We offer such systems as maternity leave, child care leave, reduced working hours, and relocation. Esthetician's work is a job that you can continue for your whole life once you have learned the techniques and theories. Therefore we expect that many employees will continue to utilize these systems and continue working. Our representative director herself has raised 2 daughters while serving as president of the company. Especially because we are a company with many women, you can be assured that there are many role model employees. There are employees who have worked right up until giving birth and returned to work 2 weeks after delivery.
Q
You have stores all over the country but are there many job transfers?
A
In the Miss Paris Group everyone is carefully evaluated and given the job that best fits his or her abilities which is why the frequency of transfers varies from person to person. Only 8% of all personnel changes involve moving. As a company who continues to open new branches, even young employees have the chance to be selected as opening staff members for a new branch. Depending on your desires, it is possible to relocate from a rural area to an urban area and vice versa. We consider the fact that we develop stores all over the country to be a big merit. Even if it becomes necessary to move after marriage or because of family duties, it's possible to transfer to branches all over the country. This is a great system for women.
Q
I want to work abroad. What should I do?
A
The Miss Paris Group began its overseas expansion based on the idea of "giving the world esthetics Made in Japan". If you can't precisely offer hospitality, service, and of course, techniques, then it's not possible to expand Japanese esthetics to the world. First, you must master all skills and pass our exams. Then you have to become an esthetician that can properly provide the service of the Miss Paris Group to our customers. In addition, whether you have esthetic qualifications, work experience, etc. will also be a major point when you want to obtain a visa.
Q
Can I do an alumni visit or workplace tour?
A
Unfortunately we do not offer OB · OG visits or other workplace tours. Our salons are workplaces and especially places where customers come. You can come and experience the atmosphere of the salon and our technology for yourself, and it's also possible to have a talk with our employees and professional trainees.

What kind of points do you consider when screening candidates?
A

Q
Are there any advantageous qualifications for working at Shape Up House?
A
The Miss Paris Group recommends you to acquire the qualifications for a beauty professional recognized by the Soin Esthetic Association. This qualification requires at least 1000 hours of a set curriculum and becomes the foundation for an esthetician. 95% of our employees are certified estheticians. Why is it that customers who have experienced many different beauty salons choose to come to the Miss Paris Group? It is of course because of our skills but also because of our guidance under solid theories. Under the guidance of a theory-based professional, our customers will be able to lose weight properly. Especially because in the esthetic industry, employees can work without qualifications, having or not having qualifications is greatly tied to a customer's trust.
Q
Is it better to study before entering the company?
A
After joining the company, since you will be working as a beauty professional, it may make things go more smoothly if you have some knowledge relating to esthetics. Every year the number of students who use long vacation periods such as summer vacation to try for certifications increases. By making use of our unique education programs such as intern trainings for prospective employees, it is also possible to experience the salon business. In addition to that, we think that people who try their best in schoolwork as well as clubs and part-time jobs will be able to overcome difficulties when they become full-time workers. Therefore by all means, please find an activity that you can develop a passion for during your student years.
