The 2018 Miss International Japanese Representative Competition, sponsored by Miss Paris Group, was held on October 30 (Mon). The eight finalists were screened through the kimono, swimsuit, and dress competitions, and the Japanese representative was selected at the final stage where the contestants presented a speech.

The one chosen to carry the glorious title of 2018 Miss International Japanese Representative is Hinano Sugimoto (20), who is currently a student at University of Tokyo. After the representative competition, she said, “I want to compete in the international competition as a woman of both elegance and strength. I will cherish the gracefulness and humility that is typical of the Japanese people.” Ms. Sugimoto will be visiting Beauty Spa Miss Paris for the next year to enhance her beauty and prepare herself to represent Japan in next year’s 2018 Miss International Beauty Pageant.
