Miss Paris Group’s Miss Paris INC (Headquarters: Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President& CEO: Akemi Shimomura) pre-opened Taiwan’s first Beauty Spa Dandy House Pacific SOGO Dunhua Store on Monday, March 23rd, 2015.

Pacific SOGO Department Store Dunhua features a wide variety of luxury brand retailers, catering to many wealthy customers. This area is also referred to as the “Best District,” and known as the most modern area in Taiwan. It is at the forefront of trends where popular tourist spots Warner Village and World Trade Center as well as designer brand boutiques and restaurants can be found, in addition to Pacific SOGO Dunhua Store, Chung Hsiao Store, and Fuxing Store. Beauty Spa Dandy House Pacific SOGO Dunhua Store is located on the 5th floor, creating the perfect space for relaxing both the body and mind by pleasing one’s five senses all the while stimulating his aesthetic sensibility. It is the starting point of expanding Japan’s esthetics in Taiwan.

Taiwan’s first store is a cross between Japanese and western style, a warm, cozy salon that incorporates many natural materials. The facade designed with vertical lines resonates with wa, or the Japanese sense of beauty, and slightly blocks the view from the passage way, arousing curiosity among passerby. Indirect lighting of the ceiling brings about gentle changes which fill the salon with soothing air, creating a place for refining one’s beauty.

Dandy House is the first men-only beauty spa in Japan, which recently celebrated its 28th year since its establishment. We are trying our best to create a premium beauty spa by encouraging all of our estheticians to obtain qualifications and by acquiring ISO 9001, an international quality assurance standard. In addition, starting with our very own weight loss system, “Triple Burn Slimming Method,” which has been proven effective, we have conducted joint research with universities to develop a variety of truly effective weight loss, facial, and hair removal programs.

Since the launch of the Hong Kong store in July 2009, we opened new stores in Shanghai and Singapore, and as a leading esthetic salon fully equipped with internationally recognized estethicians who have received professional training, high-performance aesthetic equipment, and high-quality cosmetics, we have been received favorably by our customers overseas. Opening our first store in Taiwan symbolizes the fact that we are being supported by men of Asia as well as the elevated awareness of and growing interest towards beauty. The store was open in response to various demands.
