Shape Up House Co., Ltd. (President Akemi Shimomura), On February 26th (Wednesday), Dandy House Men's Salon Kyoto held the grand opening in Kyoto.

The salon's concept is "Shape of the universe". Dandy House opened new salon in Mont Blanc building, on Shijo Street in Kyoto. The salon provides a relaxed atmosphere, suitable for a salon based in Kyoto. At the entrance, we placed a big sofa assuring your relaxation and comfort.We also managed to create a typical Japanese atmosphere by placing “a partition made of bronze glass with an octogonal lattice pattern” behind the sofa. Octogons were used to decorate houses by noble families in Japan from ancient times. It’s said that octogons represent the universe. Today, octogons are considered to be a shape that brings good luck, as it represents all the Feng Shui directions in the same single shape, and as well as a space open for expansion. Moreover, we created an optical illusion by placing a clear mirror on the front wall. It creates an everlasting image of the octagon, which truly represents the universe.
