One of the three major beauty pageants in the world, “2014 Miss International Beauty Pageant” sponsored by Miss Paris Group, will be held in Tokyo.

The final contest will be held at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa (Shinagawa, Tokyo) on Tuesday, November 11th.

Beautiful ladies from roughly 80 countries and regions of the world, including Ms. Rira Hongo representing Japan, will compete in this year’s pageant. From their arrival in Japan at the end of October until the final contest, they will actively take part in experiencing Japanese traditional culture as well as participate in various exchange events as the “Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace.”

“Miss International Beauty Pageant (hereafter referred to as Miss International),” established in 1960, is one of the three major beauty pageants in the world. What is special about Miss International is that it brings together women from all over the world who are not only beautiful but also possess high aspirations to contribute to the international community for world peace and international amity. As the “Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace,” they promote international exchanges as well. The 54th Miss International Beauty Pageant, “Festival of Peace and Beauty,” will have a gorgeous opening in Tokyo on November 11th.
